KANA Hydrocontrol Ltd, known as Hydrocontrol, emerged from the joining of forces of water utility professionals with strong expertise in sustainable water utility operations and management. It was established in March 2010 under Cyprus Companies Law, Cap 113, as a Private Limited Company to provide advisory and consultancy services in the water sector. Hydrocontrol’s primary focus is in providing tailored services for efficient and effective water utility governance through strategic advice, consulting and technical assistance. It also undertakes capacity building and business coaching in all aspects of management and operation of urban water distribution networks.

Hydrocontrol offers a range of advisory services to water utilities around the world applying the International Water Association’s best practices and methodologies in establishing and sustaining efficient and effective network operations. These services include water utility management support, water supply engineering, water loss control, water utility performance and monitoring, etc. Hydrocontrol utilises their extensive water utility expertise to provide solutions for cost effective management of water distribution networks with a focus on Non-Revenue Water reduction.

Hydrocontrol has provided services to several Water Utilities, International Financing Institutions and Water Associations, including Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KFW), the Arab Countries Water Utilities Association (ACWUA) and the Water Supply and Sewerage Association of Albania (SHUKALB). The company’s experience ranges from the Middle East (Cyprus, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine) to East Europe (Albania, Greece, Romania) and Sub-Saharan Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia).
