In Guwahati, a major part of the city is supplied in water by groundwater resources through a distribution network, but this groundwater is contaminated by arsenic and fluoride.
The LOTUS team is developing a sensor and a platform that will allow Guwahati institutions to monitor water quickly and effectively, and therefore ensure the delivery of safe water to the citizens through pipelines distribution networks.
